Start to Diet The Healthy Way

For most of my life I have had little problem with weight. While others fought to keep the pounds off or to lose weight I seemed to be able to eat anything. But in a six month period I gained 18 pounds.

 

You may be sitting there and saying to yourself, 18 pounds, is that all? But remember, for me that was an awful lot and I could feel my health beginning to suffer. Something was wrong.

The answer was simple, change my lifestyle and I had to do something before I was in very big trouble. What I needed was a plan I could follow that seemed sensible, achievable and long term.

Now if someone said you could lose 2 to 5 pounds per week without counting calories and carbs would that sound more achievable and more attractive? If your target is to lose a lot of weight maybe 2 to 5 pounds does not sound much but remember it is better to lose weight gradually and keep it under control than to starve yourself thin and then be hit with cravings that put it all back again.

Believe me, it is much better to have a lifestyle change and reduce your weight gradually with a controlled diet plan.
